Russia has named American performing artist Steven Seagal as a "special representative" on US-Russian philanthropic ties.
The nation's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an announcement on its authority Facebook page Saturday, saying the activity star's part will be to advance US-Russia relations "in the compassionate circle," including that the part will incorporate joint effort "in the circle of culture, open and youth trades."
