The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu today portrayed President Buhari as a non-materialistic pioneer saying "On the off chance that you watch the life of President Buhari, he isn't materialistically disapproved of like the other individuals".
The Lagos ruler made this comment when the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa drove the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria to his royal residence on a graciousness call.
He went ahead to state, "God cherishes this nation and we are extremely fortunate. My interest to you, my children and girls is that given peace a chance to come back to this nation. Nigeria wouldn't break. On the off chance that every one of us will coordinate, Nigeria will push ahead. We are every one of the one and we should see ourselves as that. Collaborate with the national government. I have confidence in the corporate presence of Nigeria".
He encouraged lawmakers to have the welfare of the natives on the most fundamental level and guarantee security of lives and property. Akiolu likewise complimented Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for huge interests in security
